Judging a Book by its Title
This treasure was not found on display at a bookstore, it was in fact under a pile of other stuff at a good old fashioned antique mall. Oh what a shame. I wish I could tell you more about the contents, though I'm fairly sure I know what it is about from the title which is, in its entirety,
The Complete History of the San Francisco Disaster and Mount Vesuvius Horror: Death and Ruin by Eruption, Earthquake and Fire.
It is one of oh so many books I have yet to crack open and give my full attention. They're all for a particular time and mood are they not? So while it's been a couple years since I happened upon it, I'm happy to say it has spent that time displayed on my end table, so I can see it every time I pass by and ensure it never again spends untold amounts of time buried under junk. What a thing.
